Am thrilled to share that I have been featured in the list of Illustrious Alumni of Thadomal Shahani Engg. College, Bandra (Mumbai) compiled by a fellow alumnus, Salil Pawar.
Also like the photo he chose to feature me; during the launch of my book last year.
It now gives me an idea to have a compilation of the illustrious alumni of our College for the benefit of all the past & present students.

I had the pleasure of going back to my alma mater, Thadomal Shahani Engg. College @ Bandra last Sat.-4th May for a Workshop ‘Intellectual Property Strategy’ organised by Indian Angel Network.
Quite an experience going back to the Seminar Hall and addressing the participants instead of being one of them.
The participants were interesting with diverse background from Software to Healthcare to Manufacturing and most of them were trying to figure out how can they go about protecting their idea, understand the nuances involved and what is the best strategy in their context.
As always, impressed with the flood of questions and the willingness to debate and provide their point of view!!
One of the learning for me was that India is one of the few countries where ‘Working of a Patent’ i.e. commercialisation of an invention has been implemented whereas even in countries such as USA, the working of patent is not mandatory at this point of time.
Speaks of the shift in mindset and our willingness to adopt or even set global standards.
And the highlight of the experience for me was the sales of my book, Protect Your Ideas which continues to attract attention and I sold out all the stock I had carried to the Workshop.
And to top it all, the ever fabulous Masala Toast Sandwich with Fresh Lime Soda at our regular college hangout, Jay Sandwich.
